Arbors at Highlands Community HOA Meeting
In August, I had the opportunity to attend the Arbors at the Highlands HOA meeting. I was able to speak with community members who shared concerns about traffic, speeding, and development happening in their area. These events are always an important part of the work I do to connect with communities, hear concerns, and find solutions together. Thank you to Linda for the invitation, and I look forward to opportunities to continue to work together.

The start of the school season traditionally marks the beginning of budget season in Snohomish County. Leading up to budget deliberations, I've been hard at work understanding how we can best position the county without further straining families in our community. I've been hearing from many of you who have shared feedback and personal experiences, and I greatly value your input. In the coming months, I'll be providing my thoughts, considerations, and feedback regarding the 2027-2028 biennial budget in this newsletter. Stay tuned for more information, and thank you again for your time and thoughtfulness.
The Mead Family Visits the Evergreen State Fair
The Evergreen State Fair is a family favorite in the Mead household, and this year was no exception. My superhero wife and I took our five kids to enjoy all the fair has to offer. From rides, snacks, games, and petting zoos, our family squeezed out every smile. If you haven't had the opportunity to visit the Evergreen State Fair, I highly recommend it for next year. There is truly something for everyone at every age.
