Snohomish County Light Rail Town Hall on April 14th

Transportation Choices Coalition (TCC), Washington's Transit advocacy organization is holding a town hall at Everett Station on April 14th from 6-7:30pm to discuss the future of Light Rail. As residents of Snohomish County they would love for you to join as well as spread the word to your neighbors or others than might be interested in attending.

Following announced cost overruns of around $35 billion for the long-range plan by Sound Transit, the agency is reassessing how to deliver the transit system voters approved while facing real financial and logistical challenges.  Decisions will need to be made about getting light rail to the Everett.

The town hall will feature Mayor Cassie Franklin of Everett, Snohomish County Executive Dave Somers and Sound Transit staff to give the public an opportunity to learn more and ask questions to decision makers.

Event:

Date: Tuesday, April 14
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: Weyerhaeuser Room, Everett Station
Address: 3201 Smith Avenue (4th Floor) Everett, WA 98201
