REMINDER for new funding tool: Puget Sound Recovery Acceleration Funding Tool (PS RAFT)! The goal of this tool is to help distill information on the unprecedented amount of funding opportunities into a central location. This is a place to find those funding opportunities relevant to Puget Sound and salmon recovery. You can also use the Connections tab to find others interested in collaborating on the same funding opportunity. If you would like to add an opportunity, please email strategticfunding@psp.wa.gov. Public Comment Opportunity on Commerce Climate Guidance: The Washington State Department of Commerce is requesting feedback on their draft intermediate climate planning guidance document. This planning guide aims to help communities create a climate element in their comprehensive plan, as it is mandatory under the Growth Management Act (GMA). 2023 Annual Carbon Conference: Registration is open for the Carbon Friendly Forestry Conference hosted by the Washington Conservation Action. This event is a three-half-day virtual conference held on Wednesdays throughout November. Anyone working in forest management or carbon sequestration space is welcome. The conference will be held on November 1st, 8th, and 15th. Click here to register.

LIO Riparian Workshop: Our Sno-Stilly LIO is hosting an all-day in-person Riparian workshop on Wednesday, November 29th. The Sno-Stilly LIO is looking to help catalyze and build partnerships across our two watersheds to accelerate riparian project implementation, as significant funding is either available or will be soon for riparian projects. This workshop aims to create a space for focused planning and the development of strategic partnerships to identify opportunities and needs, address barriers and develop next steps.
