Mariner Community Campus Survey

Sno-Isle Libraries identified an underserved need in the Mariner community, an unincorporated area of Snohomish County with more than 25,000 residents. This community is expected to grow another 20 percent by 2025, and increase in density by 23 percent. In February 2017, Sno-Isle Libraries opened a storefront library as a demonstration project. Since their doors opened, there have been more than 80,000 visits, which prompted conversations about finding a permanent space for the library, as well as additional space to greater serve community needs.
What this project will look like will be shaped with the help of those living, working, or going to school in the Mariner community. The Mariner Community Campus would be based on a permanent public-private partnership to build a safe and accessible community campus, provide a benefit meeting the basic needs of all residents, and support the community through integrated and high-quality services that reinforce healthy families and a strong community.
The public is invited to participate in a 5 minute survey to help shape the campus plan. In the next few months, there will be two community town hall events to get further input from the public. Spread the word! Your ideas are critical to this process!
