Bow Lake Multicultural Night
City of SeaTac provided hats, gloves, and resources at the Bow Lake Elementary School Multicultural Night on January 30 that brought the community together for food and fun.

City of SeaTac Supports Transgender and LGBTQIA2S+ Communities
On Tuesday, Jan. 28 the SeaTac Council moved to show support for our transgender and LGBTQIA2S+ community members in the face of recent federal executive orders that may have caused fear and unrest among members of our community. Read more and find resources on our blog.
Coming Up
Planting Our Future Native Forest Saturday, Feb. 8 | 9 a.m. - noon North SeaTac Park Join SeaTac’s new forest stewards for a restoration event to learn about Washington native plants - and plant some yourself - in a growing native forest area!
Native Planting for Tu B'Shvat Sunday, Feb. 9 | 2-4 p.m. Angle Lake Nature Trail Join ongoing forest restoration at Angle Lake Park in honor of Tu B'Shvat, the Jewish New Year of Trees. Volunteers will have the opportunity to plant native trees, shrubs, and ground covers. No experience is necessary and all are welcome!
Community Resource Center Wednesday, Feb. 12 | 8:30-11:30 a.m. SeaTac City Hall The monthly Resource Center offer in-person assistance (and free snacks and beverages) for SeaTac residents who need to secure essential services such as healthcare, insurance, education, job training, behavioral health, housing, food, substance abuse treatment, and more.

Civic Campus Update
On Tuesday, Jan. 28 the Council provided City staff with the criteria to evaluate properties for a future Civic Campus. Council endorsed a framework with a focus on amenities and gathering places such as local food, local art, etc. Follow our Speak Up SeaTac site to stay up to date on the Civic Campus project.

 New Trash Can Locations

Our new project website provides the public an opportunity to stay informed, share ideas, ask questions, and provide feedback on projects around the City.

 Small Business Support
The City launched a Small Business Capital Access Program to increase access to capital and resources for small businesses.
 Salmon Rearing Program
Coho salmon eggs from the Soos Creek Hatchery are on view in a 55-gallon aquarium at the SeaTac Community Center. Stop by and visit!
