City Facilities Closed for MLK Day
All City facilities and offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Mayor Mohamed Egal celebrates the day by sharing his own immigration story...."I immigrated from Somalia in the early 1990’s and America welcomed me with the opportunity to start a family and a career as a social worker. I believe that public service is a way to give back and serve my country,” said Mayor Egal. “I will continue to advance the City’s vision and remove barriers while building community partnerships.”
