Holiday Tree Lighting Tonight
Join us for this year's event at SeaTac Community Center from 5-9 p.m.

Coming Up
Tree Lighting Event Friday, Dec. 6 | 5 - 9 p.m. SeaTac Community Center Enjoy the season with crafts and activities for the kids (bouncy houses, face painters, balloon artist), live music, carolers, a visit from Santa Claus, and a tree lighting at 5:20 p.m. The animated movie Small Foot will start at 7:30 p.m. All activities are free.
Toys for Joy Drive Bring joy to a child this holiday season by donating new, unwrapped toys for kids up to 12 years of age. Drop off at any 17 Puget Sound Fire Stations, or you can schedule a pickup at the link above. Money donations are also being accepted. The deadline for gifts and money donations is Friday, Dec. 20.
Habitat Restoration Volunteers Needed Saturday, Dec. 14 | 9 a.m. - noon North SeaTac Park Join us to create a more healthy park by planting trees and removing invasive plants. Two dates: Saturday, Dec. 14 and Saturday, Jan. 11.

City Council to Take Action on Envision SeaTac 2044
On Tuesday, December 10, City Council is scheduled to adopt changes to this Comprehensive Plan and development regulations as part of the periodic update required by the Growth Management Act. Find out more about the future of our City here.

Public Works Director Gets Key to the City
Will Appleton, outgoing Public Works Director at City of SeaTac, received a symbolic key to the City at the November 26 Council meeting. This practice has been a long-time tradition for City leadership. Will has been the City’s Public Works director since 2016, and will begin his new role as General Manager of Soos Creek Water & Sewer District in January.

 Future Airport Plan
The Port of Seattle is taking feedback from the public on the Sustainable Airport Master Plan. The 45-day public comment period is open until Friday, Dec. 13. Find more information and how to comment on their website.

 New Civic Campus?
The City of SeaTac is exploring the feasibility of replacing the current City Hall with a new Civic Campus for City departments and services, as well as other community resources, on one centrally-located property.
