Seattle Southside Tourism Agency Budget
How do we market SeaTac businesses to visitors and tourists? That’s the mission of the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority (RTA). The RTA is funded by a tax on hotel stays and it's essentially a marketing agency for SeaTac, Tukwila, and Des Moines.
The City Council approved the budget for Seattle Southside RTA at its November 19 council meeting. The funding has no impact on the City budget since it is funded though the hotel tax.
