City Manager Finalists Reception
William Appleton and Jonathan Young, final candidates for the SeaTac City Manager position, spoke with community members and staff at a reception on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at City Hall. The finalists presented an overview of their background and experience as well as answered five randomly chosen questions from the audience in the course of two hours (see link to video below). The City Council interviewed both candidates on November 7 and will make a final decision by mid-November.

Coming Up
Veterans Day Ceremony Monday, Nov. 11 | 10–11 a.m. Veterans Memorial Plaza Join Mayor Mohamed Egal and other community members to pay tribute to military veterans of the past and present. The names added to the memorial since 2023 will be read aloud. The Plaza is adjacent to the SeaTac Community Center. Community Resource Center Wednesday, Nov. 13 | 8:30-11:30 a.m. SeaTac City Hall The Resource Center offers SeaTac residents information on how to secure essential services like healthcare, housing, food, job training, substance abuse programs, etc.
