Weigh in on City Budget
There are two more Council budget workshops open to the public on Friday, Oct. 11 from 4-7 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 18 from 3-6 p.m. at City Hall. Find more details on the blog.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month
October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the City of SeaTac is amplifying this issue by sharing local resources available throughout our community.
This week, the City Council presented a proclamation to our valued nonprofit partner, DAWN (Domestic Abuse Women’s Network). Read more on our blog.
Coming Up
The Great SeaTac Scrub Down Saturday, Oct. 12 | 9 a.m.– noon Angle Lake Park Join us for our annual community clean-up day! All registered volunteers will receive a free T-shirt, donuts, coffee, and a trophy for the winning team. Safety vests, litter pickers, and garbage bags will be provided. Bring your friends and family! Walk-ups are welcome.
The Great Pumpkin Night and Trunk-or-Treat Friday, Oct. 18 | 5 – 8 p.m. SeaTac Community Center Kids can enjoy face painting, a bouncy house, trunk-or-treat with the SeaTac PD, and a free showing of the Monster’s Inc. movie (with popcorn!) that starts at 7:30 p.m. Wear your costume or your favorite festive fall accessories.
SeaTac Fall Recycling Event Sunday, October 20 | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. SeaTac BMX Track Our popular bi-annual recycling event is next weekend! Items accepted include batteries, oil and filters, antifreeze, propane tanks, tires, electronics, and more! Additional details can be found here.

North SeaTac Park for Recreational Use?
The Port of Seattle Commission passed an order establishing the goal of permanently designating North SeaTac Park for recreational use.
