Last day to submit returned funds form (capital only) for this biennium is May 9, 2025
The contract returned funds form will go offline on May 10, 2025. This returned funds form is for capital funding only, not operating. Unused operating funding may be returned at closeout for VSP.
SCC does not accept returned funds after that date, and any returned funds for May and June will be submitted by the County or CD with their June voucher. SCC does not accept any returned funds forms after May because there is no longer adequate time to reallocate those funds for other projects.
Please submit all returned funds forms for canceled or complete cost share and DIP projects as soon as possible, and no later than May 9, 2025. Please be aware that the Commission receives a summary report at the September Commission meeting regarding funds returned to SCC after the May 10 end date.
VSP capital funding update
All funds have been reallocated. There are no VSP capital rounds open at this time.
Thank you again to those who have returned unused funds! If you know you have a project that cannot be completed or unused funds, please complete the returned funds form.
VSP Program Funding Guidelines update
VSP staff are engaging with participating counties as they work on revisions to program funding guidelines. The draft version of those proposed changes will be presented to the Commission at its May 15, 2025, meeting to request they are released for a 45-day public comment period. If you have any questions about the guidelines or the revision process, please contact Mike Poteet, VSP Coordinator.

First session is on May 12, 1 - 2:30 p.m. - Register for Zoom link
The new 5-year reporting template is nearly completed and ready for release. To help prepare county and district staff to use the new template, VSP staff will be conducting several training sessions through the spring and summer. Each session will be a stand-alone training that discusses every portion of the reporting template, and VSP technical staff are encouraged to attend one or more throughout the year.
Future sessions will be held on May 29, June 17, Aug. 8 and Sept. 15.
2025 Joint Statewide Advisory Committee & Technical Panel Meetings
This year's meetings will focus on 10-year reporting. Most meetings will be held regionally, in-person and with an online option. Two general meetings focusing on overall reporting and topics as needed will be held only online. See schedule above or visit VSP meetings.
We have reserved time on agendas for counties based upon region and also in consideration of 10-yr reporting deadlines (should be fairly similar to draft we shared in fall). If your county wishes to reserve time at a different date than currently scheduled, please contact Mike.
