Riparian Planning Considerations Training

Last call for Riparian Planning Considerations!  We still have a few open seats in next week’s course – please reach out ASAP if you would like to attend.

The course is being held in Olympia, July 29 – Aug 2, with Monday and Friday as shorter days for travel.  This training is for planners who want a greater understanding of species and factors important in riparian revegetation efforts. Course will cover topics such as soils, hydrology, site preparation, weed control, species, plant materials and planting strategies. Course will be a mix of classroom and outdoor hands-on sessions.  No specific pre-requisites required, but attendees should have basic knowledge of NRCS terms and the 9-step planning process.  There is no fee for the training.

We have a great line up of speakers planned, and lots of field time as well - don't miss out!  Please email Jan at training@wactd.org to register.
