Advanced Facilitation Training Details
Greetings,
Coordinated Resource Management (CRM) helps local communities not only address natural resource conflicts but empowers them to work through issues and find workable solutions. With the support of a skilled, objective facilitator, stakeholders form a CRM group that makes decisions together by consensus, often leading to innovative and effective solutions that generate strong local support and cooperation.
The Washington CRM Task Group invites you to a 2-day skills-sharing and training session for experienced facilitators to share skills, including best practices, conflict resolution, and techniques for improving communication and engagement. We have assembled a group of veteran facilitators ready to share over 100 years combined experience as well as to learn from your experiences and knowledge in facilitation.
The training session will be held July 23-24 at the Kittitas County Fairgrounds Heritage Center in Ellensburg. The session will run between 12:30 pm and 5:00 pm on Tuesday, July 23 and between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm on Wednesday, July 24.
Registration is free; however, seats are limited to a maximum of 30 to maximize participation and engagement. Registration is first come, first served, and initially limited to one participant per conservation district, partner agency, extension office, or group through Sunday, June 30. People who had registered for the training that had originally been scheduled in May have already been invited to this rescheduled session.
We will maintain a waiting list, and if there are seats available after that date, we will notify folks on that list, including additional participants from CD, agencies, extension offices or groups that already have somebody registered. The waitlist will also serve as a roster for potential future trainings, based on interest and need.
We look forward to seeing you at the training!

- The status of CRM as of spring 2024 - resource needs, future directions, promising applications, and lessons learned.
You can find the recorded webinar and Ray's slides here.
