We invite you to help SCC staff plan the direction of the Irrigation Efficiencies program and related water resource efforts.
SCC would like to revision its irrigation efficiency efforts to fit more broadly across the irrigated portions of the state. We could use your assistance to help us understand the needs of your district in addressing the inefficient use of irrigation water at the local level.
- Do you have water quantity listed in your district’s long-range plan but lack the funding to address it?
- Do you have water quantity issues listed in other local, watershed, or related plans?
- Are you frustrated watching your producers struggle with old or inefficient irrigation systems in meeting their crop water demands through our increasing drought cycles?
- Are you looking for a fun and creative way to solve water resource problems in your backyard?
Please consider joining SCC staff in Ellensburg on March 8th from 10 am -3 pm for your chance to change the world. Please rsvp to jculp@scc.wa.gov with your district’s water resource point of contact for future communications around this as well as any future opportunities. We will consider a hybrid meeting if it increases attendance. Please specify your preference in the rsvp correspondence.
