Coronavirus Food Assistance Program 2 (CFAP 2)
Applications to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) CFAP 2 are due December 11, 2020. This program provides direct relief to producers who continue to face market disruptions and associated costs because of COVID-19. Meat Processor Pandemic Relief Grants
The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) is accepting grant applications for expenses up to $150,000. The relief grants can be used for expenses incurred from March 1, 2020 to December 30, 2020. Processors with 250 or fewer employees may apply. Washington State has allocated $5 million dollars in COVID-19 CARES Act relief funds for this project. The application period is open until November 16th. Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP)
The deadline for RCPP applications is November 30th. The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will award up to $360 million dollars to locally driven, public-private partnerships that improve water quality, combat drought, enhance soil health, support wildlife habitat, and protect agricultural viability. Wetland Reserve Enhancement Program (WREP)
NRCS is accepting proposals to the Wetland Reserve Enhancement Partnership. Through WREP, eligible entities work with tribal and private landowners to voluntarily enroll eligible land into easements to protect, restore, and enhance wetlands.
