Adopt a Road Volunteer Coordinator (ongoing)
The city of Sammamish is looking for a volunteer to help coordinate our Adopt A Road Program. This volunteer will work out of the MOC building on 244th and schedule litter pick up dates and file all necessary paperwork. Once trained this job should take about 2 hours per week and time is flexible. Volunteer needs to be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word and have good communication skills. Camp Korey Golf Tournament June 8 & 9
Camp Korey annual golf tournament is coming up June 8 and 9 and we still have a number of open volunteer shifts. Minimum age is 21. The event is held at the Glendale Country Club in Bellevue. Anyone that’s interested can contact Mary Ann Hutchinson at mhutchinson@campkorey.org or 425-844-3278.

TeenFest Volunteers Needed – June 14 3-6pm
TeenFest has been revamped and will be a different event this year. Free & open to everyone (including families) a battle of the bands on the plaza as well as the skate competition will keep us busy that afternoon.
Volunteers are needed to help with traffic –3pm – 9pm
Act as additional security and bag check volunteers from 6-9pm
First Aid (skate contest) 1-2 volunteers from 3-6pm

The Sammamish Farmers Market opens for the season on Wednesday, May 15. The market will be open 3:00-8:00pm through September 25. Opportunities are available on market days to work at the info booth, assist with special market events, and help with set-up and/or break-down of the market and more!

The Ride to Conquer Cancer is a phenomenal event that brings together communities under a common goal: conquering cancer. Cancer knows no borders and does not discriminate.
During this bold cycling journey, Riders will bike over 250km from Vancouver to Seattle in an effort to raise funds and awareness for cancer research; while inspiring hope and change.
