City of Sammamish is hosting a virtual costume and pumpkin contests for 2021! Get those costumes together and start decorating your pumpkins now! Take a picture of your final creation(s) and upload to CONNECT Sammamish starting Friday, October 15.
Contest categories include costumes of individuals, costumes of animals and decorated pumpkins. The public may give input by “hearting” their favorites within each category and division. Staff will then choose the finalists and announce winners on Tuesday, November 2. The winner of each division will receive a prize from the City, and not to mention bragging rights!

In the spirit of Halloween, the city of Sammamish is excited to offer its first “trunk-or-treat” event on Sammamish Commons Plaza on Thursday, October 28 from 4-5:30pm. This event is a fun and safe alternative to trick-or treating door-to-door. Come in costume to stroll along a socially-distanced route to explore the spooktacular décor in variously themed car trunks while collecting goodies from gloved hands. The event is suitable for all-ages and will be held rain or shine.
Mask use will be required to enter the trunk-or-Treat event.
