Eastside Baby Corner (EBC) will be collecting donations of school supplies and back to school clothing with our EBC van in the parking lot of CWU Sammamish on Tuesday, August 24th from 10 am - 1 pm.
EBC is extremely low on school supplies for kids due to COVID. We normally have a reserve of supplies for kids for the fall, but with little to no school supply collection drives last summer, we are looking at kids going back to school with no school supplies for the incoming school year and we help more than 1,700 kids every month! We need your help! Please click on the image for a list of school supplies and clothing needed!

Update from Sammamish Plateau Water:
In August, field crews will be conducting sanitary sewer smoke testing in selected areas of the District located within the North Sewer Service Area. Pushing non-toxic "smoke" into the sewer pipes is helpful in detecting connection points where outside surface water can enter into the sewer pipes. During the testing, you may see this "smoke" coming from vent stacks on buildings or from holes in the ground. Don’t be alarmed. This simulated “smoke” is safe and non-toxic, has no odor, is non-staining, does not create a fire hazard, and should dissipate quickly. To learn more, please click on the image!

What do you want Sammamish to look like in 2044? The Community Visioning Project aims to reach residents and stakeholders throughout the City to better understand the vision for Sammamish's future. Input will be used to update the City's vision statement; an aspirational description of the future, highlighting the community values. The vision statement is important because it is one of the tools used to decide how City goals and policies need to be changed as part of the Comprehensive Plan Update starting in early 2022.
