The City of Sammamish and the Sammamish Police Department strongly condemn any violence and hate towards the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. The increase of bias-related incidents regionally and nationally in the past year is disturbing and cannot be tolerated. While we have not had any reported cases in the City of Sammamish, we encourage anyone who experiences or witnesses a bias-related incident to call 9-1-1 to ensure the incident is handled properly. Together, we must stand with the AAPI community with support and protection. Please click on the image to read the rest of the statement.

"If you are 65 and over and have yet to access a vaccine please let Eastside Fire and Rescue know. Our mobile vaccination teams are still serving populations within our service area and while who we can directly schedule and deploy vaccine to is limited to only those populations the County approves, sometimes we are left with additional doses and we can put you on a stand-by list. If residents meet that criteria and would like to be placed on this list, please email COVID@esf-r.org."
Please click on the image to read the rest of the report, which includes an update on the establishment of a mass vaccination site here on the Eastside.
