On SE 4th St., Most of the work has been completed.  Crews are working on the final touches; property restorations; fences; minor adjustments; clean up, etc. While the impacts to traffic are much less now, construction equipment will be moving up and down the roadway and there will be minor traffic impacts.  At times flaggers will be controlling traffic to get vehicles around the work. Typical work hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm.  During non-work hours, traffic will be traveling in normal lanes.  Please be cautious as you travel through the corridor and keep an eye out for construction crews as they work to finish up this great community asset.

Beginning Tuesday, August 25th the contractor will replace the culvert crossing 247th Ave SE on the north side of SE 32nd St. SE 32nd St. will remain open, but please drive alert and slow down for construction.

Issaquah-Fall City Road remains closed for construction. Local access will be maintained during the closure. The closure between 247th Place SE and Klahanie Dr. SE is still on schedule to last through the end of December 2020

  1. The roundabout at SE Issaquah-Beaver Lake Rd./256th Ave. SE/SE 32nd St/E Beaver Lake Dr. SE is operational. There will be a contractor completing work on the sidewalks and wheelchair ramps during the week.
  2. Construction of the bridge is underway and on schedule to complete in December. The contractor will be placing girders during the nights of August 24th through August 27th, and the nights of Monday August 31st, and Tuesday September 1st.
  3. Between 242nd and 247th Ave. SE, traffic remains on the south side of the roadway. Work continues along the north half of the roadway in this area. The contractor and the utility companies will be working on relocations in these limits. Grading work, concrete curb, and sidewalk placement have extended into August due to work related to the underground utilities. The contractor will continue to work next week at the intersection of 247th Ave. SE near the middle school. Placement of asphalt is currently on schedule to occur at the end of August.

Please note that during peak delays, using the project detour route, Issaquah Beaver Lake Road to Issaquah Pine Lake Road, may result in shorter drive times. For more information and project updates, please visit the project portal on Connect Sammamish. Please remember to obey all the stop signs and speed limits in the area.
