Storm Drain Love Languages

“Taking care of storm drains is important because when water can’t get down them, it can cause flooding," says Engineering Technician Lisa Werre. "Even a little bit of water can cause problems if it freezes or makes leaves slippery.”

These are the road work projects scheduled in Sammamish for the week of  Oct. 18 – 25

SCHEDULES MAY CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER AND/OR EQUIPMENT AVAILABILITY

RE-Rescheduled: Osgood Development
The developer will be closing SE 24th to install underground sewer utilities on Saturday, October 26.  The work hours are between 9:00 am and 6:00pm.  The roadway will be open by the end of Saturday. 

 

4th Street: Curbs and Gutters
Flaggers continue to manage traffic through the construction site.  The contractor is planning to begin paving of the roadway next week.  In addition the contractor will be placing new sidewalks and working on underground utilities.

 

UPDATE: Issaquah Fall City Road
The general contractor (GC) has completed installation of construction and inspection crew offices. Temporary erosion control and surveys are the current work items. In addition, third party utilities, including PSE gas, Comcast, and Verizon are relocating facilities in the public right-of-way.

 

Note: Traffic will be shifted to the north starting October 21; one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. Work hours are 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

 

Verizon 5G
Crews are working along Issaquah Pine Lake Road near the QFC shopping center - the work is within the limits of the sidewalk.
