Market Update – August 28, 2019

The weather will be beautiful for the Sammamish Farmers Market this week, so come on out to get your veggies and fruits, drop off your "Ask the Chef" questions at our Information Booth, and see your friends and neighbors!  

Today we’re celebrating Sustainable Sammamish with sponsors Republic Services and Sammamish Water District. They, along with many others will have ideas and tips to help us all love green and develop more sustainable lifestyles. 

In addition, Joey's Sweet Eats will be selling cookies at the Market today; this Eastlake High School sophomore is a baking phemon who wants to "Bake the World a Better Place." He will be donating 100% of the proceeds from today to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Entertainment:  One of our favorite musical groups, Sorting Hats will be playing throughout the market.  

Dinner Options:  Buns on Wheels, The Dog Spot, Los Chilangos, Five Hooks Fish Grill, Pompeii Wood Fired Pizza, Panda Dim Sum and Simply Desi

 

Children’s Activity:  Show kids fun ways to recycle different products. (4 - 6pm.)

Meet Me at the Market!

The Sammamish Farmers Market is located at Sammamish Commons, 801 – 228th Ave SE, and occurs every Wednesday from May through September 25, 2019. Market hours are 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Parking: There is limited parking at City Hall and the library during market hours. Additional parking is available at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Skyline High School, and Sammamish Hills Lutheran Church for your convenience.
