Shop Small in Redmond and Win Prizes
Support local businesses this holiday season and celebrate Redmond's diverse community with the City's Shop Small Passport Program
REDMOND, WA - Celebrate the 2024 holiday season with the Love Local Redmond Shop Small campaign, now through Dec. 31, 2024. The campaign showcases unique local offerings, increases awareness of the City’s small business community, and positions Redmond as a destination for boutique shopping, dining, and winter activities.
“We are excited to highlight the unique character of our small businesses, which strengthen our local economy,” said Mayor Angela Birney. “Small businesses represent a large part of Redmond’s business landscape, and this Love Local Redmond program provides a wonderful opportunity for residents and visitors to connect, support local entrepreneurs, and experience the diverse cultures that define our region.”
The Shop Small campaign promotes businesses located in Downtown Redmond, Willows, Marymoor Village, and the Overlake Intercultural District.
How It Works:
-
Visit any small business in Redmond
-
Check in with the Shop Small map
-
Win prizes by earning points
Throughout the campaign, an interactive map will guide participants through Redmond to earn weekly prizes and compete for the grand prize.
- Passport participants will earn one point for each business or attraction visited throughout the campaign.
- Many of these small businesses are also offering exclusive discounts to passport players.
- Participants with at least five points will be entered into a weekly random drawing to win exciting prizes, including restaurant gift certificates, Redmond Town Center gift cards, ORCA cards to ride transit, and much more.
- The grand prize will feature Cirque du Soleil tickets, an overnight hotel stay, and dining/shopping certificates.
- Prize bundles can be picked up at the Redmond Town Center.
- Additional opportunities to win will be available for those who explore businesses or attractions in multiple neighborhoods.
Additionally, residents are invited to enjoy Redmond Lights in Downtown Park during the month of December, adding to the festive experience.
