Armed Robbery at Redmond 7-Eleven Leads to Pursuit; Suspects Still at Large
REDMOND, WA - At approximately 11:30 p.m. last night. Redmond police officers responded to a robbery in progress with shots fired at a 7-Eleven store in the 5000 block of 148th Ave. NE
Upon arriving, officers learned three male suspects entered the store, demanded money, and stole cash from the register before fleeing.
One suspect fired a gun in the parking lot and carjacked a customer’s vehicle, which was found abandoned nearby. The suspects then fled in another stolen vehicle, which was located by a neighboring law enforcement agency at a separate 7-Eleven.
Multiple agencies pursued the suspect vehicle, with Washington State Patrol successfully performing a Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT) maneuver to stop it. The suspects fled on foot after leaving the vehicle. Despite an extensive search, the suspects were not found.
No injuries were reported during the robbery at the 7-Eleven or throughout the subsequent pursuits. The suspects are described as black male teens wearing black masks and dark clothing.
Investigators believe the suspects may be connected to multiple 7-Eleven robberies that occurred throughout the night.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Redmond Police Department at 425-556-2500.
