Redmond 2050: What’s Changing in Your Neighborhood

Between now and 2050 the City of Redmond is expected to almost double in population. Changes can start in 2025 as we see new types of housing and taller buildings in our centers. Updated code requirements will open new opportunities for property owners to build more housing units on their property or open small businesses. This can lead to more affordable and more diverse housing options and small businesses that are more easily walked or rolled to outside of our centers.
