Fall Activities on the Farm
There’s a slight chill in the air, along with the scent of pumpkin spice. Fall is almost here, and we have the perfect autumn activities at Farrel-McWhirter Park.
All About Pumpkins: Sept. 28 Help harvest pumpkins and feed the animals at the farm.
Walking History: Sept. 28 This is a free tour that dives into the history of Elise Marion Farrel-McWhirter, the person who donated the land that became Farrel-McWhirter Park!
Storytime and Crafts with Barn Cats: Oct. 4 Meet the cats who live at Farrel-McWhirter and enjoy crafts and stories.
Ponies in the Park: Oct. 5 Enjoy pony rides, pony crafts, and everything else pony!
Let’s Goat Hike: Oct. 19 Explore the park’s trails with goats. Be sure to wear your Halloween costume!

Meet Your City Councilmembers on Sept. 30
Join Redmond City Councilmembers for roundtable discussions on a variety of topics including environmental sustainability, housing, public safety, multimodal transportation, and more. These sessions are designed to create more opportunities for you to get to know your City Council outside City Hall and share your input on community needs.

As the weather starts to turn, stay active and save money at the Redmond Senior & Community Center. In addition to the state-of-the-art Fitness Zone, pass holders get access to drop-in pickleball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, and volleyball. Family Passes also include the Kids Zone and Indoor Play.
