A Sense of Home is Meaningful for Everyone
Security, fellowship, well-being, and other life essentials coexist in a sometimes fragile framework. Affordable housing is one of our state's most significant challenges, and the actions cities take contribute to positive outcomes. Redmond's Housing Action Plan, adopted in 2021, details a roadmap that furthers our commitment to affordable housing. In addition to the City's ongoing work with the Together Center and Health Through Housing in Overlake, our partnership with Plymouth Housing for their development of a site in Downtown Redmond is another way we are we are taking action to provide housing for people of all income levels.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month
Join the City of Redmond in celebrating the stories, histories, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. Representing all races of humankind, their contributions to America are deep and far reaching reflected throughout their contributions during the American Revolutionary War, and throughout fields of science, education, arts, and culture. While we acknowledge Hispanic and Latino communities throughout the year, Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 is a significant moment to convey our respect.
