See the Newly Opened NE 40th Street Underpass

After years of coordination and partnership between the City of Redmond, Microsoft, and Sound Transit, construction of the NE 40th Street Underpass is complete. The underpass connects pedestrians and cyclists from Redmond Technology Station to the Microsoft campus. This is the first location on the Downtown Redmond Link Extension (DRLE) Project where Sound Transit will fully transfer responsibility for the infrastructure to Redmond. The DRLE will be completed in 2025 when two new stations open in Downtown Redmond.
