Update on the Lamp Posts Blooming in Overlake

Update on the Lamp Posts Blooming in Overlake

Our summer digital Focus newsletter encourages you to take a stroll along 152nd Avenue in Overlake this summer to find it lined with 10-foot tall flowers; the result of collaboration between city staff and local artist Horatio Law. Eight lamp posts will be installed into a community-designed bouquet to enhance the pedestrian experience. Due to some challenges with the materials and shipping, the artwork installation will take place during the fall, instead of summer.
