Give Blood to Save Lives

Give Blood to Save Lives

The City is partnering with Bloodworks Northwest on Thursday, July 18, to host a blood drive in the Redmond City Hall parking lot (15670 NE 85th Street). It takes 1,000 people every day to keep our local blood supply at safe and reliable levels. Plus, when you donate blood to Bloodworks in July and August you have the chance to win two tickets to see Taylor Swift. On donation day, look for the Bloodmobile, and please arrive with your photo ID.

Don’t Wait to Inflate

Don’t Wait to Inflate

Tire dust, especially from underinflated tires, contains chemicals that harm aquatic life, including salmon. This dust rubs off our tires when we drive, then washes into our creeks when it rains. Check your tires monthly to make sure they are properly inflated. It will improve your vehicle’s gas mileage and save you money, make your tires safer, improve your car’s handling, and help save our salmon.
