It allows families who have loved ones with cognitive or developmental disabilities who go missing or are experiencing an emergency to register key information with Redmond Police to expedite efforts to find and reunite them.

Drink in the Data for Redmond’s Water

Drink in the Data for Redmond’s Water

Redmond’s water continues to exceed the highest standards. City staff work diligently to provide safe, reliable drinking water to all Redmond residents and businesses from our supply wells and the Tolt River Watershed. The annual Water Quality Report provides the most recent year of water quality data and is a great resource for residents to learn more about their water.

Plan Ahead for an Upcoming Road Closure

Be aware that the NE 90th Street Bridge will be fully closed from 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, while crews conduct maintenance repairs. Work will take place day and night. The bridge will be closed, and detours will be marked with signs. This project will include an epoxy overlay of the bridge deck and repairing bridge seals. City staff conduct bi-annual inspections of all bridges and schedule maintenance as needed. Reduce speeds near construction areas, drive carefully, and follow all instructions from flaggers.

Review the General Wastewater Plan

Review the General Wastewater Plan

As Redmond grows, we are identifying areas where pipes, pumps, and other wastewater infrastructure need to be extended or replaced so we can continue to provide sufficient sewer service. Your comments and questions can help guide this work. Review the draft plan and let us know what you think.

Right of Way Fees

Learn About New Right of Way Use Fees

Redmond is implementing a fee system for the extended closure of public right of way (ROW) by private businesses beginning in January 2025. Previously, the City has allowed the closure of public right of way for the benefit of private businesses without charging a use fee or excise tax. Private use of ROW for construction activity or outdoor dining limits public access and enjoyment of sidewalks, landscapes, bike lanes, parking, and travel lanes. To balance the needs of private businesses with the needs of the community, the City will collect a ROW use fee and the state-required excise tax for extended closures of the public right of way.
