Explore the Overlake Neighborhood with Redmond's New Overlake Passport Challenge
Discover the culture, cuisine, and convenience of this growing and thriving Redmond neighborhood
REDMOND, WA - With the opening of the 2 Line, ride the rails to Redmond and support local businesses through Redmond’s newly launched Overlake Intercultural District Passport Challenge. Residents and visitors can earn points for prizes by sampling international cuisine, playing in Esterra Park, and relaxing with luxury lodging in the Overlake Intercultural District (2801 152nd Avenue NE), now through June 22, 2024.
"We are thrilled to launch the Overlake Passport Challenge, which features all the offerings this growing neighborhood has to offer,” said Mayor Angela Birney. "This program is a fun and delicious way for people to ride the rails to Redmond and stop at Overlake Village Station, where they can foster community connections, support our local restaurants and businesses, and engage with our region's diverse culture.”
