Clean Streams

Keep Streams Clean

You may have noticed a new leaf-shaped landscape on the corner of NE 40th Street and 156th Avenue NE. It plays an important role in cleaning rainwater and snow melt to protect Redmond’s streams from pollution, and uses plants and soil to naturally filter water that runs off roads, roofs, and sidewalks in a nearly 20-acre area. The clean water runs into Villa Marina Creek, which is home to several types of salmon.
