Redmond Lights Burning Bright
You can enjoy Redmond Lights through Jan. 3, with Downtown Park’s art and light installations on display every night from 5 – 11 p.m. Gather your friends or family to visit the park together, take a self-guided tour of the art, and drop into one of the many local businesses in the area to make a night of it. Included in the Seattle Times’ recent round up about where to see holiday lights, Redmond Lights is sure to brighten your night.

Winter Fun for Kids
While we might be lacking snow, Redmond is still a winter wonderland full of fun activities! Whether your child would like to learn to ride a pony at Farrel-McWhirter Park, stay active with sports, build STEM skills, develop their artistic, musical, or theatrical talents, we have lots of fun to choose from!

Art Opportunities in January
Embrace your creative side this upcoming month through a variety of art programs for all ages offered throughout Redmond. Learn how to play an instrument like drums or ukulele, learn to paint like Bob Ross, take a drama class, make a beautiful watercolor or sculpture piece, and more!

Art of Toy Creation
You can find multiple classes that will teach you how to make your own toy. You can develop your own character or game piece creations in several art mediums, including amigurumi crocheting, epoxy casting, and wood whittling.

Holiday Hours
The Redmond Community Center at Marymoor Village, Old Redmond School House, Old Firehouse Teen Center, and Bytes Café are closed Dec. 22 - 25. Farrel-McWhirter Park’s Barnyard is open 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. during the holiday weekend.

Updated Park User Fees will go into effect Jan. 1, 2024, as approved by City Council on Nov. 21, 2023. Fees are based on the Cost of Service policy adopted in 2022 by Resolution No. 1557 and are consistent with other city fee schedules.
