Stay Safe on the Road

Stay Safe on the Road

Drivers and pedestrians are both responsible for safety on the road. Drivers should be alert and cautious, especially in areas with high pedestrian traffic. Pedestrians should make eye contact with drivers before crossing and use designated crosswalks whenever possible. Be prepared for unexpected actions and ensure your safety.

Family Daycare Requirements

Stay Informed About Family Daycare Requirements

In 2021, the Washington legislature enacted Senate Bill 5237, which includes capacity flexibility for daycare providers. This flexibility allows the Department of Children, Youth, and Families to issue waivers, raising the number of children served by individual family daycares.

On Sept. 27, the Redmond Planning Commission will review and hold a public hearing on zoning code amendments including review procedures responding to the waivers.
