Community Garden Expansion

Community gardens started at Juel Park in 2010 with 20 plots and have now grown to 50 plots with this year's expansion. Community gardens were identified as a community need in the 2017 Park, Arts, Recreation, Culture, and Conservation (PARCC) Plan, and further supported by outreach for the PARCC Plan update in 2022. In addition, the City has partnered with Spectra Apartments for communitywide access to their 42 community garden plots. More expansions are planned for 2024, including gardening plots at the upcoming Redmond Senior & Community Center.
