EMS Week

Join Us in Honoring Emergency Medical Services Week

In 1974, President Ford declared the first National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week to honor and celebrate the EMS professionals safeguarding the health, safety, and well-being of our community. The emergency medical technicians and paramedics of Redmond Fire Department are nationally recognized for their excellence and dedication. We honor them this EMS week, May 21 – 27. Thank you, first responders!

Public Works Week

Recognizing Public Works Week

Redmond Public Works staff design, build, and maintain our essential infrastructure and protect and restore our natural environment. Their efforts produce clean drinking water, safe roads, reliable wastewater conveyance, minimized flooding, and the protection and restoration of Redmond’s streams and wetland habitat. This year, May 21 – 27 is National Public Works Week, a chance to reflect on how public works connect us all and appreciate the dedication of those in the public works profession.
