Work Zone Safety

Drive Safely Around Work and Construction Zones

It is National Work Zone Awareness Week, and crews are busy performing maintenance and repairs across the city. When driving near construction and work areas:

  • Slow down
  • Minimize distractions and always be alert and focused
  • Follow traffic control devices, signs, and markings
  • Watch for workers - don’t assume workers aren’t present if you don’t see them right away
  • Follow all instructions from traffic control flaggers

Thank you for keeping all members of our community safe.
