As a reminder, Mayor Birney will present her annual State of the City address in a hybrid meeting at 8:45 a.m. this week on Thursday, March 30. Free registration through OneRedmond is required to attend either in-person at Redmond City Hall or virtually through Teams.

Housing Community Advisory Board

Volunteer for a Housing Community Advisory Board

A Regional Coalition for Housing (ARCH) is seeking volunteer applications to serve on the Community Advisory Board (CAB), which has one position open. ARCH is a partnership of east King County jurisdictions with the goal of creating and preserving affordable housing. The CAB volunteers help ARCH staff evaluate local housing project funding proposals. Applications for the CAB will be open until the position is filled.

Learn More About the Washington Hospitality Grants Program

Did you know that Redmond hospitality businesses may be eligible for a one-time grant if they were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 public health crisis through the Washington Hospitality Grants program? Restaurants, hotels, motels, and other small hospitality businesses in Washington state that were negatively impacted by COVID-19 may be eligible.

Water Main Break

Be Prepared for When Water Mains Break

Residents of the Idylwood neighborhood recently experienced a water main break caused by nearby construction. Redmond staff quickly fixed the broken pipeline and restored water service. When a water main breaks, water discoloration is normal and does not indicate that the water is unsafe to drink. Running the water for five minutes will usually correct the discoloration.
