Join us for the Topping Out of the Redmond Senior & Community Center

The community is invited to join the City of Redmond in celebrating the Redmond Senior & Community Center Topping Out Ceremony. Great progress is being made on Redmond's new community gathering place, and we invite you to take part in recognizing this major milestone as we place a beam in the tallest section of the building. The event will take place this week from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, at the construction site adjacent to City Hall.

Equestrian Lessons at Farrel-McWhirter Park

Equestrian lessons are returning to Farrel-McWhirter Park in March. Mounted lessons and trail rides are available for ages 3 to 12 and non-mounted educational equestrian programs are available for ages 7 and older.

Royal Training Academy for Kids

Kids ages 4 to 7 can don their most elegant outfits and experience a day as a royal prince or princess at a Royal Training Academy on March 4. The event will also feature a visit from a special royal guest.

Family Valentine's Day Dance

Kids ages 4 to 12 can invite someone special to a Valentine's Day dance at 6 p.m. on Feb. 10 at the Teen Center. The dance will feature live music, refreshments, crafts, and fun for the whole family.

Ukulele for Adults

Learn to play the ukulele or improve your skills in a group class at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays this month. Loaner instruments are available, and no experience is required. The class is available for adults ages 18 and older.

Spring Tune-Up Adult Softball Leagues

Spring softball leagues are available for teams of adults ages 18 and older to tune up their skills. Teams can register and pay the team fee to participate. Both coed and men's leagues are offered.
