Honoring Martin Luther King Jr.

In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) holiday, City of Redmond facilities will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16. Fire, Police, and other critical services will remain fully operational. The King Center Foundation has themed the 2023 MLK holiday observance as, “It starts with me: Cultivating a beloved community mindset to transform unjust systems,” and invites us all to understand Dr. King’s true message and put it into action.
