Celebrate Winter Solstice at Farrel-McWhirter Park

The Farrel-McWhirter Park barnyard will be festively adorned with lanterns and string lights to celebrate winter solstice on Dec. 21. Enjoy an evening of food, music, and poetry, craft a lantern, meet the farm animals, and take a luminary walk through the forest.

Hit the trails at Farrel-McWhirter Park to find greenery, sticks, and embellishments for a festive wreath. Classes are available in November and December and include visits from the animals at the farm.

Kids Light Promenade

Kids under 12 are invited to dress up in their best light and glow gear and join a marching band for the Kids Light Promenade in Downtown Park on the first Friday Night Celebration of Redmond Lights on Dec. 2.
