Walking with History: Elise Farrel-McWhirter

Learn the history of Farrel-McWhirter Park, its land donor and early Redmond resident, Elise Farrel-McWhirter. The tour explores Elise's extraordinary life as a high society debutante in New England and her eventual move west. An independent and fierce woman even before the Women’s Suffrage movement began, Elise loved children and animals, and she donated 68 acres of land upon her death to be enjoyed by the community.
