U.S. Conference of Mayors Honors Mayor Angela Birney for Climate Leadership

REDMOND, WA - Redmond Mayor Angela Birney and the City of Redmond were recognized last week during the U.S. Conference of Mayors’ 90^th Annual Meeting in Reno, Nevada for the City’s climate preparedness work. Mayor Birney received an Honorable Mention in the Small City category of the 2022 Mayors Climate Protection Awards for the City’s Climate Vulnerability and Risk Assessment.
