Derby Days 2022

Derby Days Returns This Summer

Redmond’s signature summer festival, Derby Days, returns on July 8 and 9 at Redmond’s City Hall campus, featuring live music, parades, local food, a beer and wine garden, and more. New this year will be a craft market with Urban Craft Uprising, elite bike races and kiddie kilo at the Jerry Baker Velodrome at Marymoor Park, and a virtual community bike race for all.

Fix Leaks Week

It’s Fix a Leak Week

This week, March 14 - 20, is Fix a Leak Week. Did you know that average household leaks can account for nearly 10,000 gallons of water wasted every year? Common leaks found at home are worn toilet flappers, dripping faucets, and other leaking valves that are usually easy to fix, and the cost of repairs will pay for themselves in water savings.

Human Services Grants

Human Services Grant Applications Open Today

The grant application process for community organizations interested in 2023-2024 human services funding opens today, March 14. Applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022. Interested applicants are encouraged to attend one of two virtual informational workshops, which are scheduled from 1 – 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15 and from 9 – 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16.

Paper Shredding Event

Free Shredding Event on March 20

The City of Redmond is sponsoring a free shredding event from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, at the Bella Bottega QFC Parking Lot (8867 161st Ave. NE, Redmond) for all Redmond residents. This is a great opportunity to securely shred any documents with important personal information. For safety, please remain in your vehicle.
