Winter Weather Resources
With snow this past weekend and low temperatures forecasted this week, be sure you stay informed of winter weather resources available and any changes to regularly scheduled services. Today, Dec. 27, there will be a warming center at City Hall (15670 NE 85th St.) from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Other important updates will continue to be posted at Redmond.gov/Weather.
The City of Redmond wishes you a very happy and healthy new year. In observance of the holiday, city facilities will be closed on Monday, Jan. 3. Fire, Police, and other critical services will remain fully operational. City Hall will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sign Up for Free Recycling Pick-Up
The City is partnering with Ridwell to offer all Redmond residents free doorstep pick-up of Styrofoam, holiday lights, plastic bags, and plastic film on Jan. 15 and 29. This offer is open to all residents living in houses, condos, and apartments. Current Ridwell members in Redmond, please visit redmond-styro.ridwell.com to schedule your free pick-up.
Update to the Committee of the Whole Meeting Schedule
Beginning in 2022, schedules for Committee of the Whole City Council meetings will be restructured to improve overall efficiencies. The meetings inform and educate the Council on existing city programs and issues. Meetings begin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays in City Hall Council Chambers and can also be viewed virtually on Facebook Live.
