Redmond Holiday Closures

Happy Holidays!

However you choose to celebrate this time of year, we wish you and yours comfort and cheer this holiday season. In observance of the Christmas and New Year holidays, city facilities will be closed Dec. 23 - 24, 2021 and Jan. 3, 2022. Fire, Police, and other critical services will remain fully operational through the holidays.

Be Prepared for Winter Weather

With snow in the extended forecast, now is the time to prepare.

  • Stock up on food, water, and medications for you, your family, and your pets
  • Have flashlights, new batteries, and a snow shovel on hand
  • Pack emergency supplies in your vehicle (warm clothes, blankets, flashlight, jumper cables, and water)
  • Put new batteries in your smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarms
  • Clear storm drains around your home or business to reduce flooding
  • Follow city updates on social media, @CityofRedmond

Modified Mufflers

Modified Mufflers are Illegal in Redmond

Police are stopping vehicles with loud, illegally-modified mufflers in response to multiple complaints about the noise and its negative impact on the community. These efforts are part of a directed enforcement campaign to address and educate the community on the state law regarding this illegal modification to a vehicle.
