Join the Health Through Housing Community Meeting Tonight
Join City and King County staff tonight for a virtual community meeting from 5 – 6:30 p.m. Presenters will share information and answer your questions about the county's purchase of the Silver Cloud Inn for the Health Through Housing initiative, which provides supportive housing for people experiencing chronic or long-term homelessness. Participants can submit questions before the meeting via email to health.through.housing@kingcounty.gov.
Conditions remain very dry in Washington, and smoke from wildfires is already impacting the Puget Sound area. With several weeks of summer's dry weather ahead, it's a good time to prepare for a possible increase in poor air quality from current or future fires in our region.
Join the City of Redmond and Waste Management for a free virtual recycling workshop on August 12 at 7 p.m. or September 16 at 7 p.m. You'll learn what items go in your recycle, compost, and garbage, and have the opportunity to ask the experts all your recycling questions.
The Rockin' on the River free summer concerts return on Friday, August 6, with the Petty Thief band, and Saturday, August 7, with Cherry, Cherry. Concerts begin at 6 p.m. on the great lawn next to Redmond City Hall.
