June 8, 2021

REDMOND, Wash. - Redmond Police Department (RPD) detectives are now investigating the February 2021 death of a baby as a murder case after the King County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the infant’s death was a homicide.

There are two people considered suspects, but no arrests have been made yet.

The baby’s mother left the infant, Jazon Gregory, on February 10 with two suspects at an apartment in the 18300 block of NE 98th Way. One of the adults in the home called 911 the morning of February 17 to report that the 10-week-old was unresponsive, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspects, a 24-year-old male and a 20-year-old female, are not being named until formal arrest(s)  are made.

RPD will provide updates as the case progresses. Anyone with information about what may have occurred is asked to contact Redmond Police at 425-556-2500 or submit an anonymous crime tip.
