Get a sneak-peek into the initial concept for Redmond’s Senior & Community Center on the project’s refreshed website. The preliminary design concept illustrates the building layout and the amenities most requested by the community. Check the website for more opportunities to provide additional feedback on the project.
Mayor Birney proclaims May 16-22, 2021, as Public Works Week in recognition of the City’s Public Works Department and its contributions to the quality of life and safety of our community. The department’s dedication was particularly evident during the global pandemic as staff continued maintaining critical infrastructure to support Redmond, its residents, and businesses.
Registration is still open for Redmond Parks and Recreation Summer Camps. Sessions include soccer, tennis, martial arts, flag football, and more. Designed with fun and safety in mind, all camps will include enhanced safety protocols and take place outside, with reduced enrollment to allow for physical distancing.
Mayor Birney has proclaimed May 2021 as Bike Month in Redmond and encourages community members to enjoy exploring Redmond by bicycle. Biking is healthy and fun and is a convenient, affordable, and sustainable form of transportation.
